Thought this was a derivative, cliched and run-of-the-mill action movie which seems to have traded political espionage with CSI-like tomfoolery.
It felt more like a Bourne/Mission:Impossible reboot lacking entirely in originality or intelligence.
It was however, in its favour, extremely fast-paced, energetic and certainly not boring in the least.
Kenneth Branagh is far more competent a director than he is a Russian villain, that's for sure.
PS. Was Keira Knightley trying to do an American accent? I couldn't tell...
The Q & A itself was wonderfully informative. Branagh's a great speaker. Eloquent, well-composed, and just plain engaging. A true gentleman.
I wonder what he thought of the mostly elderly turn-out at the event?
