I completely agree!
There is NOTHING after tonight’s screening of The Book Thief so any new preview will be next week 17th and 18th February..... If they exist

What is odd for me in my 3rd year of SFF (Shame 15/11/2011 my first and the only film in 2011) is... "The Book Thief" is being shown at ALL 3 major chains in Birmingham @18.30 tonight 11/02/14
CINEWORLD Broad Street
ODEON Plaza Broadway
VUE Star City
Afaik there has been much duplication by TWO chains on the same night.

Three unless I missed it (and that would be in 2012, as 2013 I upped my game) this is a first as would be a screening of the same film ONCE by each chain on consecutive nights
Quentin Rodriguez & Robert Tarantino

I am definitely suffering the lack of films . . . I've been going to see films I liked on a 2nd night if an alternative free screening available!
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

Films already booked for:

Hope to get tickets for: Every film if they come to my preferred cinemas

Has the free films section of this forum ever been so low in numbers as it is now?...And has it ever hit zero (as it might do just that after tonight's 'The Book Thief' screenings)?...

I contacted Cineworld and Bafta and both have confirmed there will be a regional tour at cineworld. Bafta said from 28th Feb and Cineworld from 6 march so it is clearly not quite all agreed. Should get details on their facebook etc pages after Bafta ceremony. I know they will largely be things we have potentially seen already or are currently out.

...and possibly at strange times of the day, but an excellent chace to see or see again maybe half a dozen films. They do seem to change the way they do these every year though, varying between newspapers etc.

Fingers crossed though.

It's very weird to see the "last post" date in Free Films as "19 June 2009"!!
