To celebrate the release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier which arrives in cinemas on 26th March, Marvel and Geek Syndicate have two pairs of tickets to giveaway to attend a special screening in London on Thursday 13th March.

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. It's almost time for the 2014 superhero season to get underway with the UK release of Captain America: The Winter Solider on March 26th, but if you can't wait that long for Chris Evans' second solo outing then you might be in luck, as we have teamed up with Marvel Studios to offer one lucky reader the chance to see the Phase Two solo sequel at a special London screening of the film at 6.30pm on March 13th. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is set for release on March 26th in the UK and April 4th in North America, with Evans joined in the cast by Marvel veterans Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Cobie Smulders (Agent Maria Hill), Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), Toby Jones (Arnim Zola) and Maximiliano Hernandez (Agent Jasper Sitwell), while newcomers to the MCU include Anthony Mackie (Pain & Gain) as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Emily VanCamp (Revenge) as Sharon Carter / Agent 13, Frank Grillo (Zero Dark Thirty) as Brock Rumlow / Crossbones, George St-Pierre (Death Warrior) as Georges Batroc / Batroc the Leaper, and Robert Redford (All Is Lost) as Alexander Pierce.

The doors will open for the screening at 17:45am with the movie beginning at 18.30am.

Not many films are as eagerly anticipated as Captain America: The Winter Solider, picking up with Steve Rogers and SHIELD in the aftermath of The Avengers. if you’re in London, though, maybe we can help you have to not eagerly await it for quite so long.

There’s a special screening of the film coming up on Thursday March 13th. If you’d like a pair of tickets, simply use our Contact Page to drop me a line and tell me what your favourite Marvel Studios movie is, and why.

Remember to select “film” from the pulldown menu or your entry won’t get to me, and include your name, postal address and contact number. I’ll stress that we need your postal address as we’ll be mailing tickets directly to the winners.
