A previous supervisor once got a pedometer. He used to jump up and down a couple of times as that seemed to register about 50 steps... Mind you he also used to eat mags of minstrels at a time. and pick his nose. perhaps to keep from sharing...

mine went on the second day sadly I do have a mobile phone that you can set to count your steps which is handy. I never even get over half the reccommended 10000 unless its combat day

I stuggle getting mine when I do spinning, when its on my waistband it doesn't recognise that I'm moving, so I clip it to the bottom of my t-shirt, but maybe thats cheating 8O

I wish there was one that calculates more than just steps. I could be doing combat, working really hard but its boxing stuff so doesn't register. There again I could walk all the way home and it only registers 100 steps when I've walked for 40 mins.

I'm popping to Boots to see if I can find one there that's cheap. There seem to be loads online that also calculate total time walked and even calories.

Hahaha Diane! Oops! At least you figured it out. Mine is really dead, not counting anything at all. Boots only sell a £13 version which I thought was a bit steep. Have seen some online for £2.50 so will have a look around for a new one.

I've got a Fitbug, but not sure how much they are to b*y, I got mine through work, although this is my second one, I manged to flush the first down the loo, it slipped off my waistband and I didn't notice till too late!! Had to p*y £25 for a replacement!!!
Is it too late to submit results for this week’s weigh in? I weighed this morning and I’ve lost 2 pounds instead of 1, pretty please? :shifty:
