It's been two weeks and a bit since we got our puppy. Completely life changing in every imaginable way...I reckon it will be a while before my next preview but, dare I say it, I'm not as fussed as I thought I would be about it.

Looking forward to a photo on 'Pets Corner' in FMUK! Our Paddy kicked it off but not much action on there for years so it would be nice to see you showing off your new puppy. Many congratulations to all of you!

I second the request for pictures. I love animals, but am sadly allergic, so always enjoy photos. o/

I lost my gorgeous little man Raven today. Distraught doesn't even begin to describe how I feel.
Been in and out the vets all week cause he wasn't eating, then he had his teeth filed down but still wan by eating, we syringed him baby food and vitamin water and meds as best we could but today he just looked fed up. He didn't want to eat or drink today but I tried and cuddling and held him virtually all day after the vets this morning.
He lay on his side about 7 which is virtually deaths door language for piggies, called the emergency vet, she poked his belly and said it could be kidney stones but shed need an Xray to know for sure. He went in for the xray, she cleaner and checked his mouth cause apparently a lot of liquid food was still in his mouth.
She said would we like to come through to see the xray,, I saw him in his box shifting about to get comfy, went into a room for about 2 minutes while she explained the xray, came back out again and he was dead :'(
I feel like I've failed him so bad :'(
I've tried my absolute hardest and cared for him like my little baby and he's still not pulled through
I just want my little Raven baby back :'(

Sorry to hear that your wee pet, Raven, has died. Anyone who has ever had a pet will appreciate your sadness in the loss of a family member. Sometimes pets are better than humans! You obviously cared very much for him, weliveandbreathewords, and he had a good life and properly taken care of. Vets cannot do miracles and in time you will be comforted by the fact that he died naturally rather than needing to be put to sleep by the vet.
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston
