Re: Weight Watchers
Am going to have a struggle this weekend as I won't be near a computer from this afternoon onwards. At the moment I am absolutely religious about putting my food in spreadsheets (thanks MrGlass) and on foodfocus.co.uk so that I know what I am eating etc.
Am going to be away this weekend in a lovely village in Wales where they have the most amazing tearoom with delicious scones. Going out for breakfast, lunch and dinner all weekend... And it will be my birthday too! How to make sure I don't go over my calorie limit is beyond me!
Any suggestions? (please don't say I should order the side salad without dressing!

Re: Weight Watchers
Well, JMD its just for a weekend. I'm not sure what your diet pattern is but the most recommended is 6 days low calorie (ie around 15-20% deficit of your normal maintenance calorie level). Then 7th day, eat what you like in moderation! Ok, scones is bad calories but at least it is on your "comfort day" as Diane calls it. Yeah I know, I know I spotted the flaw in my advice...Weekend is 2 days, lol. But its your birthday! So have fun, and if you feel the weekend will be a lot more calorie heavy than normal than try to do more exercises next week to compensate, and really make your exercises more intense. That should put you back on track :)
And remember the links I gave you in how to eat healthy outside, take printouts with you
Have a great birthday, I love Wales myself, though have only been to Snowdonia regions where I walked up and down the Snowdonia mountain in different visits and walked like a crab for days afterwards...

Re: Weight Watchers
Well the good thing is that we always do a lot of walking when we are there so at least I will be burning some of those calories!
Will stick to 1 scone instead of 2, stuff like that. And hopefully that will make it a pretty ok weekend! :)
