I had low expectations but ended up enjoying What If, a lot of dialog I thought was witty and the film didn't outstayed its welcome.

Thought Zoe Kazan was excellent, wasn't sure about Daniel Radcliffe though.

The Vue I saw it in didn't do a very good job of enforcing the 15 certificate, there was one girl would couldn't be more than 8 at the screening.

I wasnt expecting much so was not disappointed. Very average film but modest performances from cast with exception of Zoe Kazan who was really good. Daniel Radcliffe was.....adequate. No charisma at all. There was an attempt at snappy, snazzy dialogue but it failed to spark. Ultimately, I did not care what happened to any of the characters, a fatal flaw. 6.5/10 from me.

I also expected very little and got even less. It wasn't funny. WHAT IF we hadn't gone? We wouldn't have missed the film but would have missed the good FMUK company.

med students can often be a bland slightly pompous lot but even that doesn't excuse the failure that is Daniel Radcliffe being cast in the lead here.

Comedy? Sinks like a stone. What the rather awesome Zoe Kazan is doing in this movie is a mystery that not even a whole team of meddling Potter kids could unravel.

A poor mans When Harry Met Sally.

There was more story line in the animated scenes during the end credits than there was in the rest of the film.

Instantly forgettable.

5/10

Enjoyable and quirky rom-com. Barely recognised the Hermione, and where were Harry's glasses!
I was sure the trailer had Harry speaking in an American accent, but thankfully it turned out just to be a plain old Harry accent after all.
Boy were there a lot of words in this film though. Talk about pressure of speech. They babbled away to one another at a tremendous rate of knots.

7/10

Would have been 8 but had to endure seeing Harry's bum!

I so wanted to like this film and for Daniel Ratcliffe to do well. I did not once think of him as Harry Potter, though. How he has grown, and his acting is lot better here, and I thought he and Zoe Kazan had some chemistry and both are very charming. I just found it too cutesy, predictable and cheesy, that I got a little bored. And hasn't that scene at the meeting and phone call been done before, but nowhere as funny. Perhaps, they thought it would be funny to put Daniel next to a tall actor, but it just makes Daniel look even shorter. Anyway, I would much prefer Rafe Spall over Daniel any day! 6/10

Lovely to see and catch up with so many FMUKers, especially ones I have not seen for a while!

I just kept seeing him as Harry Potter so couldn't take him seriously. When he said, I live in my sister's attic (nit that there's anything wrong with that), it just reminded me of Harry Potter when he lived under the stairs

Took my eldest daughter to see this. I enjoyed it! She, not so much!

I felt so sorry for my son and his girlfriend. Literally, as soon as we arrived at the cinema, she had to rush to the toilets and spent the best part of an hour throwing up! We had kept their seats for them but they ended up having to miss the film (luckily, everyone who came into the cinema managed to find a seat!) Apparently, as my son was taking her home, they got caught in a major downpour! It really wasn't their night at all!!

It was nice to see Beate and OH. I was introduced to ejwrank! canadian_turtle was pointed out to me. I wanted to introduce myself but she and her friend were having such a good conversation, it seemed wrong to interrupt!! I think I also saw rawsalsa when the film ended, but not sure...
