The first one I recall is Charlie Bartlett a few years ago. A lady approached me with a clipboard and asked me to call a number to book a place.
It was an enjoyable film and despite having Robert Downey Junior in it, I don't it ever got a real release in the UK.
You can get it on Amazon now I think.
Anton Yelchin who played Charlie went on to do well appearing in Star Trek and Terminator.

I think my first free film was Elizabeth - the Golden Age, starring Cate Blanchett. It was marvellous. I stumbled across the code in a magazine. I didn't know of the existence of free preview screenings. 
Last year, with free screenings and cinema tickets won, I think I reached about 50 free films. This year I will pass that total, thanks to everyone who posts codes, and those who often get me tickets when I am not online. What a marvellous forum this is!

My first preview was with Time Out for "Taken" with Liam Neeson back in Sept last year. I really enjoyed that film, definitely worth recommending. And with SFF it was "Burn After Reading" which was just total rubbish. I didn't enjoy that one bit. Infact I didn't even see the point of that film!

My first was 3:10 To Yuma, disappointing film, but then a few days later there was a Superbad screening, then a dry spell for too long, this forum is a haven though. Oddly most films I find free tickets for I planned to see, even as a, yeah, probably not good but still, I'm weird like that.

mine was Frost/Nixon....totally blew me away! I never would of been to see that in a month of sundays....but as it was free i thought what the heck and I totally loved it! Yah for FMUK...still cant believe my luck!

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

I was a bit of a late starter so my first preview was The Proposal.
Towards the end of the film, something happened to the playback and it stopped. We all waited about 15mins for the film to come back on, but when it did there was only 2mins left ayway.
