A really good turnout of FMUKers at the denofgeek's screening of Life after Beth. I have never been to Warner Bros de Lea Lane's offices before, so was not sure whether I should ring the bell, as the entrance was a glass door, and they could see me at the door. Anyway, when the door was finally opened and I walked in, I was expected to know where to go! And when elski arrived, Sienna Miller was there, and opened the door for her! That's a good claim to fame, elski!
The screening room was ever so tiny, and the floor slopes, so not a good place to place your drinks, but luckily on the back row, there is a ledge behind us, so we could place our drinks, while we settled into our seats. We could even see into the room with the projector. Very cosy!
I really liked this zombie rom-com. It felt fresh, zany and manic. Dark humour but very silly! Aubrey Plaza looked like she had a lot fun making this film! 8/10

Re: Life After Beth
While it’s fun seeing Plaza fly into rages, her mood violently swinging as she decomposes, oddly for a film where a zombie spends the majority of the film seeming far too alive and well, Life After Beth is sadly lifeless.

Re: Life After Beth
Thought this was a lot of fun, for the first hour it's pretty solid and then really ups it's game in the final thirty or so minutes.
Performance wise Aubrey Plaza stood head & shoulders above everyone else but she's ably supported by the rest of the cast.
Overall this is a very decent horror flavoured comedy that did enough to get an 8/10 from me...
