I am seeing it tomorrow night.

The most experience I've had with the film are the epic trailers and the pretty awesome horror house at universal :)
Lots of vampire soldiers running about scaring the crap out of you, including an injured and very much like a pin-cushion(except with arrows)soldier chasing you down a street in terror.

I hope the film lives up to my expectations

Don't expect it to be scarey wlabw, it's more like an epic action adventure type of film. Not too gory or anything (which to me is a good thing). It's strange that it feels like it should/would be in 3D but it's not, especially the starting sequence.

I went to the premiere last night and it was reasonably entertaining and at 90 minutes didn't overstay its welcome.

However it was quite tame for a vampire film when I was expecting more fantasy horror. I also found it bizarre that it was in 2D when some of the sequences seemed to have purposely framed for 3D. Evans did quite well and the special effects were good but the villain felt weak. 7/10.

Yeah I understand it won't be scary, most of the scenes in the house were of a village and some battleground scenes littered with soldiers and townspeople screaming.

The Empire review is a measly two stars but with Luke Evans at the helm I'm sure I'll be happy.

I was at the premiere last night too. The premiere was fun, especially as we were in the fan pen and the cast all came to the pen, which took as by surprise for the first one, as we were just not prepared for that, and missed Luke Evans who just went to the people next to us! After that we were more prepared and got to speak to Charles Dance, get his autograph, and photo; also Sarah Gadon, Art Parkinson (Luke's son in the film). We managed to get Luke's attention again, but he went right pass us again and went to the people on the other side of us, again! Then we were told by security that no more stars will be coming and told us to go in. What a shame as more stars did come along, although we caught it on the big screen inside.

The film was more Games of Thrones than scary dracula and very much like a family drama, but I did enjoy it. Luke was a bit of eye candy for the girls. There were some spectacular fight sequences though. 7/10

Some snaps I took:

Thought this was just okay, there wasn't any particularly wrong with it (apart from maybe the dodgy final few minutes) but it was quite bland & contained mostly forgettable material.

Overall it was decent enough to get a 6/10 from me but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again...

Unfortunately I agree with RAZORBACK :(

I liked the fight scenes, though much of what is in the film is in the trailer anyway.
Pretty much all the exciting stuff was in the trailer come to think of it.
But I liked the idea of a man trying to do the right thing rather than focusing on the fact he was just a monster for the sake of being a monster.
The 'yeessss maaasster' guy was both creepy and hilarious because of how cliché he was but I did like the ending.

Let the games begin!
Could have been a lot more done with it, but Luke Evans got shirtless, so I'm not complaining too much. 5/10

p.s RAZORBACK you're picture looks like the vampire dude :P

A bit bland and grey for my liking, but perhaps the lack of blood and serious gore (there was more inThe Equaliser) made it a better film. Seen in IMAX tonight so that will have added to my enjoyment.

I'll give it a 7/10. Look forward to seeing it again sometime.
