Lovely to see shmile, rawsalsa and PXC + friends at Odeon Greenwich, and thanks to PXC for sharing her picnic with us!
Film was packed and we were instructed not to leave any gaps.

Yes, it was good to see everyone too. It was good that we formed an orderly queue before the screen opened, late. And we all thought the same, the Telegraph readers are an older generation! My friend's daughter who is 12 must be the youngest person there, but they got their tickets from an SFF invite.

Saw this again tonight just to revel in the sheer brilliance of Sir Benedict (surely soon!)
Watched this in a packed out Edinburgh where usherette was in asking people to move so as to squeeze all in. I have to say that I was extremely surprised about this audience. Correct me if I am wrong, but is this really a comedy? Watching this tonight it was as if it had a laughter track - there was so much laughing, almost at every line. It was like watching Big Bang Theory or something. It was particularly evident whenever Charles Dance opened his mouth. I also noticed that it was particularly females that were laughing, almost infectiously it seemed. When I watched this at the premiere I was taken by the silence in which the film was watched. Can't really explain this one.

They coulda turned the heating down a tad in Edinburgh, and someone take that popcorn off him!! Ffs trying to watch a good film here, some even had pizza! I only LOL' d once, Keira Knightley was much better in this movie and Benedict Cumberbatch was brilliant, as always! 8/10

The apples, the sandwich and of course "Very decorous"

It's certainly not a comedy, but there are lots of funny lines that help you warm to the characters without undercutting the drama at all.

Saw it again for the second time and its still a 10/10 from me.

I was at the Edinburgh performance and yes it was packed and very annoying to be asked to move a long the row as the empty seat was at the wall end. So we get packed off to the Side whilst late comers can get excellent seats near the aisle.

Not sure where the earlier comments on laughing throughout the movie came from. Yes there were a few laughs during the film but only on the odd occasion and certainly not during any important somber moments and lay off it being the females laughing....the men were too!!

Now to the film itself. Thoroughly enjoyed it and BC was excellent in the role as was the child actor who played him as a school child. Very interesting the whole enigma cracking and such a shame that a genius like Turing suffered for being gay. Could not help but wonder apart from the many peoples lives he saved due to his brilliance during the war, how much more he could have achieved and contributed to the world if he had not endured the disgraceful treatment that led to his untimely death at such a young age.

Definitely 10/10
