Among the "mild sex references" is a "comic sequence in which a man disguised as a woman is flirted with by another man".

However, it later dropped phrase "mild sex references and substituted "innuendo", while also clarifying that the swearing was "infrequent".

Saw this in a busy Braehead. Face painting, balloon modelling and puzzle sheets available in foyer before film. While I enjoyed the film, I do wish they wouldn't show all the best parts in the trailers.
I loved Paddington and was really looking forward to the film. I was sitting beside my 6 year old great niece who was a little concerned when the film began in black & white. I thought this was a great way to start the film as it quickly set the scene of Paddington's origin in darkest Peru.
I was delighted to see this film for free and would probably have pa*d to see it anyway.

It was good to see so many FMUKers prettyxcool, ejwrank, david, funthing and vealster at Holloway. I was surprised to see that Holloway actually has a decent sized screen 6 with good seats, I've only ever been in the tiny auditoriums there.

I vaguely remember the original Paddington series as pretty slow paced and not very interesting but I definitely felt that the film was marginally better. While watching I thought I would be distracted by a few kids running around but was more distracted by the very enthusiastic woman in my row who kept shouting out what she thought might happen next. All in all I saw that the kids really liked it. 5/10

It had its charming moments but I did not find it as funny as other people in the cinema. Not amazing but entertaining enough for a Sunday morning film. 7/10.

Went with high hopes after all the great reviews, one review in a national paper even described it "as possibly the best family film ever", unfortunately for me it failed to live up to all the hype, it did have a number of great scenes, particularly liked the one where Paddington chases the pickpocket through the streets of London, but between them I felt that it dragged a bit.

I think that kids will love it, but for me it didn't live up to expectations.

Utterly captivating. Paddington really did look like he was interacting with the human actors who I loved too. Nicole Kidman was a real "boo hiss" pantomime villain.

I adored the whole look of the film too some of the details in many of the scenes was fantastic. I even had a wee lump in my throat at one point.

Must check on IMDb now to see why it was given a PG cert. A future classic in my opinion.
