Saw this last night in a full-to-bursting Wimbledon – people still arriving as the film started and some had to be turned away. I know I am in the minority, but I absolutely hated it – with a vengeance. Had I known what a load of tripe I was in store for, I would have given my seat up to some of those who were turned away. I thought the script was dreadful, acting appalling (Colin Firth, Samuel L Jackson and Michael Caine - what on earth were you all doing in a film like this?), plot clichéd. I felt it was a blend of James Bond, the Man from Uncle and Thunderbirds and failed on all counts. I sincerely hope there isn’t a sequel. I felt like walking out after an hour, but didn’t want to disturb the others in my row who were obviously enjoying it. I felt I have lost two hours of my life! 0/10

Thunderbirds? In any case you missed out The Avengers.

One of the whiplash screenings last week was from a heat mag code with exact same blurb and no-one took or were asked for pages going by the people that went.

I think I am also in the Minority, I was hoping for a great film but got a poorly acted, cliched and re-hashed film

I really enjoyed this. Loved the fact it was hammed up and clichéd. Found it very very funny in part, the upper class kids at the start were spit on. Walk through Edinburghshire New Town on any given day and you'd meet at least 2 of them on each occassion. Very very funny! It was violent in part and there was a lot of swearing but that kind of went with the territory. Blade Strutter was hilarious. 8/10 from me for cheering me up.
