went to empire for this... yes, we jz arrived home... nicolas cage is brilliant in this movie but editing was poorly done... i don't really like the story of the movie as it's somehow relate to drug taking... and when we were on our bus back home, there was a group of teenagers smoking marijuana in the bus!!! interesting friday night...

6.5/10 fr us...

Just got back from watching this at Wandsworth, and I disagree with the earlier comments as this was right up my street.
Nicolas Cage was brilliant as the crazy cop and I laughed my socks off at the scene with him and the 2 old ladies.

8/10 from me

Can't believe you liked it Simon...I really didn't enjoy it at all...it was weird and boring. I laughed at some bits but only because it was so bad 2/10

I thought it was excellent! A slight niggle at the way it was ending but the last few scenes helped to leave it more open.

9.5/10

It was weird and boring in parts, but I did laugh at the 2 old ladies scene and the "his soles still dancing!" scene. Didn't much like the end and left the cinema feeling un-satisfied. Nicolas Cage was great in the role, very believable. Gonna give it a 6/10 because of good acting but wouldn't watch again.

Yes, a bit strange in parts and I did laugh a few times - probably in the wrong places. Nic Cage acted his little socks off and Jennifer Coolidge was a bit of a surprise to see. Took us a few moments to recognise her.
Kept waiting to see if it was all a dream like Dallas. Would see it again to get a better grip of the plot. Agree the ending was poor. 6/10

Saw this at Wandsworth eventually after being sent to the wrong screen, where a jackie chan film was playing lol but back to Bad Lieutenant, i absolutely loved it!! The plot was standard cop-fare, but it was the little eccentricites that made the film stand-out, (a point of view from an aligator, a dancing soul, iguanas!) topped by a brilliant performance by Nic Cage, been a good year for him so far!

9/10 o/
