Street Dance 3D
Street Dance 3D
Sparks fly as the worlds of street-dance and ballet collide in STREETDANCE the vibrant, uplifting and ground-breaking 3D feature film from Vertigo Films.
While training for the UK Streetdance Championships, a streetdance crew are forced to work with Royal ballet dancers in return for rehearsal space. With no common ground and with passions riding high, they realise they need to find a way to join forces to win.
The UK is going three-dimensional and using everybody who's ever danced in Britain's Got Talent to do it. Streetdance, Britain's first digtial 3D movie, follows in the footsteps of the likes of Step Up and Save The Last Dance, with an urban dance crew determined to win the UK Streetdance Championships, who are forced to work with Royal Ballet dancers in return for rehearsal space. While they initially seem to have nothing in common, as bonds are forged they realise they need to find a way to work together in order to win. The film features top ballet dancer Richard Winsor, as well as actress Nichola Burley, along with Britain's Got Talent dance sensations George Sampson, Flawless and Diversity. The full trailer for the film has now been released, which you can watch by clicking below. The film hits UK cinemas on May 21st.
Starring: Charlotte Rampling, Eleanor Bron, Chris Wilson
Director: Max Giwa, Dania Pasquini
UK release date: 21st May 2010
Running Time: 98 minutes

I saw this trailer today, and I've got to say I thought it was very exciting. I haven't watched Britain's Got Talent, but the dancing and the music in this clip were fantastic. Cheryl Cole has a role in it - she gets around, doesn't she?
I'm excited because this is Britain's first 3D film, - no animation here - have there been any other dance-type 3D films from the USA?

Re: Street Dance 3D
I believe the USA are making the 3rd Step-Up film in 3D but I think these are the first 3D dance films.
I saw the trailer when watching Alice in Wonderland and it looked pretty good, I like all these dance movies, the 3D was pretty good, at one point one of the guys threw his hat and a few people jumped and yeped as it did look like it was about to hit you.
