Poor Steve. Seeing this once was bad enough.
Woman sat next to me was laughing like a drain throughout. Me - I think I almost smiled. Once.
Think the C-word in this movie was cock. Makes a change I suppose from the other C-word. The N-word never amuses me anyway, but in this it wasn't even remotely funny. "Knee-Grrrr". Nope. Still not.
Even the L'il Wayne outfit gag was stretched to like about 5 minutes and wasn't amusing either.

All in all I did enjoy the story - it doesn't have to be funny.

5/10 Wouldn't sit through it again.

We had stiff security in Edinburgh tonight. I was frisked several times before yielding to a full body cavity search. She failed to find my stash of sweets and chocolate and nuts though!

Did anyone else think that Kevin Bacon was in this? Greg Germann looked the spit of him, I thought.
Kept expecting him to say, "Bacons! We have a problem!", or "Buffer-face!"

I LOL' d once when Kevin Harts wife smacked him! I'm not a fan of Will Ferrell, liked Elf though. Everyone around me seemed to really enjoy it judging by the amount of laughter..... 4/10

Security was tight eh?! My poor mum got huckled to the ground & her bag of liquorice confiscated!! I am soo glad I had eaten all my favourites :p

Lol

After yet another dire day at work and more happy campers, a bit of light relief was good. I actually quite enjoyed just how ridiculous the whole thing was. On another day, I'd probably have been appalled

;) Still can't believe someone was on their phone even though they were all asked politely to switch them off before the film started.

Ach well. Didn't have high expectations of this since I personally don't like either Will Ferrell (only liked him in ELF) and Kevin Hart (who wasn't as annoying in this film as in other films) and had a few laughs but not many. Guess someone out there thinks people out there will laugh at stereotypes. And Will Ferrell has such curly chest hairs. 3/10 cos I got Krispy Kreme doughnuts

Audience in Glasgow seemed quite divided . . . some silent and others with raucous laughter. I was looking forward to this film as I thought it would be some light froth after my holiday . . .and it certainly was that! The story was ok certainly not as funny as I'd hoped. As others have said, I too am not a great Will Ferrell fan with the exception of Elf, but I think he was miscast in this film as I thought he was too old. I've definitely seen worse films but I wouldn't bother seeing this unless it was free or you are using a voucher.
Marks 5/10
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

Films already booked for:

Hope to get tickets for: Every film if they come to my preferred cinemas

So stupid it was actually funny in parts! My friend thought it was hilarious but I thought too many swear words were used.

Glasgow mafia on security tonight!! All sweets confiscated (unless it was ones the little fmuker doesn't like!! ;) ) but glad she was there to tell off the person who insisted on looking at their phone all the time.

Who had the Krispy Krème doughnuts that you confiscated?

I made a wee trip to Krispy Kreme before I went to the cinema.
