Wow! That was a blast! I thoroughly enjoyed that. Was totally immersed again from start to finish. Talk about a cliff-hanger....
I wouldn't mind another couple of installments.
Clive Owen was superb in this.
It did take me quite a while to get my head round the multi-national multi-ethnic cast though. I'm still unsure as to what part of what world this was set. Still doesn't explain the Black American presence of Morgan Freeman. Surely he could have made a little effort with an accent of some description other than his own.
I could have watched this for another hour.
8/10

Re: Last Knights
What an appalling mess of a movie, a 47 Ronin remake set in Europe? that pretty much sums up this utter fudge up from start to finish.
That said, I was high on enough ice cream for me to enjoy (no I mean chuckle at) the ridiculous sword fights and ummm medieval American accents.
An interesting contrast in the odeon last night to the relaxed attitude of staff at policing the Times event - apparently times customers aren't expected to jump to another screen so no staff minded us into The Salvation - but tonight with "scum" customers they blanked the displays of adjacent screens and guarded us into our screening cautiously,a dn they monitored us carefully by walking into the screening every ten minutes. Have to say though, whats the point of a staff member being sent to police people walking into the screen, if all that staff member does is stare at her iphone all the time?

Re: Last Knights
I left this to my hubby and his friend to go as I am not a Game of a Thrones fan so knew it would not be my type of film. He felt it was a well produced film but fell below his expectations as he is a real thrones fan. However allowing for the fact that it was a story over a couple of hours it would never be able to achieve that and it was watchable. 6/10 xx
