hehehe Beate. I totally disagree. :P

I thought it was quirky, lighthearted, corny, silly, fun and for all that I was entertained and I liked it! o/ 8/10

Like Tilly, I saw this at Croydon too (thanks to a_person), but I wouldn't have said the auditorium was even half full, which was surprising for the genre. I wouldn't rate it particularly highly - 6.5 for me - but certainly didn't think it rubbish either - just a very average romcom aimed at people younger than I am, and an undemanding way to pass 100 minutes. I admit to being amused by the more slapstick scenes at the airport, towards the end.

This was ok, it seemed promising at the start but very predictable and the jokes weren't as funny as they should have been in some places. That being said I did enjoy it and it was a light hearted way to spend an evening. 6.5/10.

Well I expected very little from this film and that's pretty much what I got. By the way Alice Eve ( who played Molly) had her real parents play her parents. They are Trevor Eve (Waking the Dead) and Sharon Maughan (Holby City and long ago she was in those silly Nescafe ads).

Odd to go to the same cinema, Islington Vue, two nights running -- glad to see Beate and MariaLionza there.

Ah, I was wondering why they picked two British actors to play her parents, didn't realise she was British too - and definitely didn't pick up that she was their real life daughter - no physical resemblance to her parents at all.

Leeds Light was absolutely deserted, with only about people in each row (or half-row - i.e. on each side of the stairs). Less even than last night.

Initially, I thought this film could be a bit Legally Blonde (probably thinking of Luke Wilson from last night :P), - oh no - it turned into a boy film... Steve (who again grabbed the fab VIP seats, thanks Steve :thanks:, and who also got my tickets :thanks: :thanks:) was chortling away throughout!

And ejwrank - well spotted about the Eve family being in the film. o/ I thought I was imagining this (I'm rubbish at faces) but we stopped to see it confirmed in the cast list. Wonder if they have the same agent! ;)
