Saw this in vue west end premiere screen, wow did the movie look good, didn't feel like 2h11m long but the ending was lame.

The zombies looked too good and quite hard for a 12a.

Will Prob catch it again in 3d

They're not zombies!!!
Zombies are the dead reanimated. Those guys are yet to die. Their personalities have been literally eaten away by a virus - hence their behaviour.
Also zombies can only be killed by serious damage to the head. These guys can be killed the same as the rest of us - they can even bleed to death.

These guys are called Cranks because of the way they act in the early stages of the DISEASE. They're cranky!!!

Well this is the problem with the film. At no point do they explain what they are so everyone that hasn't read the books assumes they are zombies. For such a long film they spend most of it with action and not much else. The poor guys in the group you can tell are set to die as they aren't even given any lines until they're about to die. They spent a lot if time on the characters in the first film but this time around they've hardly bothered. So it's probably a richer experience for those that have read the books whereas for those of us that haven't it comes across more like a superficial zombie action film.
