I only have one subscription to FF. Subscribed to nothing else.

Didn't get the latest alert, been trying the tip of marking everything read when I visit as well.

I understand how incredibly frustrating it is. One thing that does cause problems is when people either chat on FF or post dupes on FF because they think the first post didn't go through.

The admin delete them but sometimes they can cause a glitch because the system thinks people haven't read them.

But if you are already clicking on Forums Read, then I can't think of anything else that could help. Sorry.

Is there a way for admin to mark them as read for all?
Or at least move them to a section where people can view and mark as read?

I clicked on the mark all as read button on the Expired forum and I got an alert today. Fingers crossed that's what it's been and it now works permanently.

Life would be so much easier if people didn't post duplicate codes on Free Films which I then have to delete after first having merged with existing thread before realising it's the same code! I'd rather not move these from Free Films and unfortunately I can't mark posts as read for everybody as that's an individual feature.

I'm not getting emails from my thread subscription on the core "free films" thread, but do from all of the others I subscribe to?

It's frustrating and I don't understand why?

Make certain that whenever you finish reading everything you're interested in, you click on "mark forums read" on the front page.
