Wow Diane, you're lucky to have so much fresh fruit :)
Dinner cooked by my boyfriend was delicious, not very healthy though.... Am having some natural yoghurt with honey now & a glass of water-will continue eating healthily tomorrow!

Here you go, Diane. o/ I think this should be right up your street, as I remember you once said that you loved semifreddo. ;)

I love the name 'semifreddo' don't you? It sounds really classy! :D

Very disappointed that no one (except for me  ) got my hilarious (and long running 8O ) ignore the offer of chutney joke. :wall:

EJ and Diane, are you extremely kind ladies still offerring to send me a jar then? :D Surely though, won't it be a right palaver for you to pack it up securely enough, and not to mention very expensive, to send through the post?

Of course we got the joke, Preston -- but we're not offering SPAM just chutney!

Happy to send you some -- have a surplus of stamps and who knows -- you might decide to sell it in your National Trust shop.

Ooh now that sounds just delicious, I'm gussing that I can make it without the alcohol (only because it costs a fortune to b*y - I do have a friend who loves this) and a very good memory. I had some devastating news when I went to Pizza Express on Wednesday evening - Semi freddo reale is off the menu 8O :tears:

Lord Preston obviously thinks that us commoners don't understand high brow conversations

I'm sure making it without the alcohol would be fine. However, whilst the Disaronno brand of ameretto is expensive, this make comes in significantly cheaper and seems to get good reviews ;)

Thanks for that but I was just checking to see what I needed to b*y and I had forgotten that I had made a Tirimisu a few months ago hence had some of the above product in so I'm very happy.

I know what I'll be making tomorrow afternoon. I think that I may get banned from this thread as I am not doing much healthy talk.

Just made the Plum and ameretti semi freddo and it's divine o/ Plus a plum crumble but it does have oats on the top and finally reached the end of the plums.
