Haha!

I actually got that one, I'm so proud of myself!
And btw, what a *pert* plum that is miLord!! Definitely been workin out!!
I'm not a fan of going to the gym for the same reason, Preston. People are so darn competitive. I don't go there to compete. I drag my lazy a$$ (on the rare occasions that I do) there to tone up or lose weight when the weather is too miserable to run. I hate running in the pouring rain more than....err...more than marmite! And the other irritating thing about gyms is the slimey arnie/sly-type guys who think that just because their muscles are bigger than elvis you're going to appreciate them hitting on you and swoon at their feet (yes, I said swoon). No. Thanks.
Diane, I'm coming over to yours to sample your culinary delights!!!

Talk about food porn!!

Wow, you've really been whizzing around in the kitchen haven't you!!
There's definitely nothing like homemade chutney. My nan has been making homemade apple chutney ever since I can remember. We would climb the apple trees in her back garden, scooping up all those misshapen cooking apples and the whole house would soon fill up with the smell of fresh apple pies and apple chutney. Ahh...the good old days!
Oh and now I've just remembered Nan's elderflower wine. Oh boy... <insert licking-my-lips smilie here>
And nan was lovely like you are Diane, spreading the joy to family, friends & neighbours. In this day and age, that sort of generosity is something that is far too rare, in my opinion. Yes, I'm a cynical cow. But you are an absolute gem, Diane!
Oh and good luck to your daughter too. Uni is soooo much fun, I'm sure she'll have a blast...and study hard too!
Welcome back asamaic. How awesome is it to have your own place?!! Congrats lass!! Just don't go crazy b*ying loads of stuff right away. Take your time so you can choose pieces that you really want in your home.
As Preston said, any weight loss should help with improving your knee problems so don't give up, whatever you do. A pain-free life, is a good life so keep up with the exercise & healthy eating in a way that you find works and doesn't cause any other problems.
Well, as you a;; know by now, I'm like a nosy neighbour who likes to pop over now and then for a cuppa and a wee gossip.

Keep up the good work girls n boys, you're always an inspiration. Adios xx
