Went to showcase Leeds last night to watch this . Film was ok , an old guy near me laughed out loud at some parts but I just smiled to myself at the same "jokes". 5/10 for me

Saw this in Shepherd's Bush and am sure at least 70% were laughing out.

The 80s/90s references were killer and there was a fair amount of swearing but worth it for the "fresh" line and the huntingly one :p

To me it was just Tina doing her "real housewifes of..." Impression with a touch of her Britney Spears.
Which was fab as she normaly plays the "straight" one.

And amy who normaly plays the crazy one was quite spot on as the "good sister".

The perfume joke was my fave but john cenas safe word was up there.

I'm not surprised at the security as this films not out in USA till 18th (same day as Star Wars)

It should be a hit dispite the unfortunate release date.

Better than bridesmaids for sure.

Solid 8.

Not that great. although lots of people in the cinema were laughing out loud. There were some funny bits, but overall a disappointment, especially as Amy Poehler has been a rising star this year. Let hope here next film will be better.

Well, I went to the research screening for this earlier this year, and nobody laughed, except for one scene where they were having trouble pronouncing each other's names. That was hilarious! Other then that, it was quite mediocre, and I really did not want to see it again, even to find out if they took on board our comments!

Got stuck in traffic and we decided to bail out. Sounds like it was a good decision.

Saw it a Vue Shepherds Bush, cinema could do with a refurb, lots of sagging seats with holes in!
We actually loved the film: a kind of Stepbrothers! Tina Fey and Amy Pohler were great, and Maya Rudolph was superb!

good comparison, the parents swearing def reminded me of 'stepbrothers'

i saw 'sisters' again last night at a late show, and its still good for me, was better than "the night before" that i saw this week.

but i think you have to be the certain age to get all the references :P

yeah shepherds bush vue has been due a refurb for a while, even tho its only like 16years old.

i guess they dont want to close it as it makes quite a bit of money for them, it holds the record for most money made on one film in one week (skyfall)

but as they are planning to refurb (dolby atmos in one of the premiere screens) vue west end/leicester sq without closing it/keeping some screens open, then maybe they could with bush vue also...

Was pretty much as I expected, some really funny moments but also a lot of 'meh' moments. 6/10
