What? Their just sweets! pure sugar and other nonsense! Cant believe I'm saying this but I rather you girls have your chocolate (dark and better still with nuts), at least it makes you happy and a little cocoa each week is actually very good for you according to recent scientific research. But only a little! basically 2-3 squares of chocolate a week is recommended by the scientists! Good news, huh :) yeah I know 2-3 squares sounds like tortuous teaser doesnt it but thats was the official findings!

Allsining, you have the right approach though, keep busy :) like how you are finding ways to dodge the chasing devil, lol. How about handing out yummy broccoli to the kids....nah suppose that's not gonna work...

2 to 3 squares...ekk when I'm one dimensional and chocolate driven its like being chased by an express train it can be several chocolate bars  , thankfully I'm fine at the moment but when it comes it's like someone has knocked you off your feet...thank you for the cravings link I'll check that out...this is my weakness area and beating it is my challenge

The Haribo's are free from additives and enumbers and you're good old pick and mix so the children will love them..we thought about 10 small pieces no bigger than your thumb nail, some are smaller?? When i get them Thursday i can have a look in the bag and see if 10's ok

Well done everyone!!! Great progress by some of you!

Have gained 1 kilo now which is not too much yet. Have mainly felt very sick so struggling to eat anything other than liquorice. Really conscious of my diet at the moment so at least when I eat it's usually quite healthy!

The real fun is just beginning for you then, huh? ;) Glad you still eating healthy though! Hope you are researching best eating habits for this phase in your life, maybe experienced mothers here can pass on tips?

Not sure how I suddenly attained powers of foresight but I am foreseeing at some point in 8-9 months, that you will win that week's fmuk weight loss challenge by an enourmous margin...

Well done everyone.
I used to love sweets, I had a couple of M&S sherbets on the weekend, they were 30 calories a sweet, I didn't realise until after I had them  trouble is there're so moreish!! I decided now that I can't have any as when I have 1 I want a 10, its easier not to have them. I also had to give away 2 easter eggs, I know its a while since Easter, but I was saving them as treats, but my willpower was letting me down and at 600 each I thought it was a slippery slope!! I've just b*ght some new clothes for holiday, there're a little bit small so I'm using that for extra motivation o/

Hi Guys

Hope you are enjoying your weekend and being healthy :D

Almost had a hairy moment in Tesco this morning..rushing around and missed breakfast only to smell lots of goodies on the bakery shelves....so i went and had beans on toast in the restaurant. While i sat there relaxing i felt rather proud of my self for not going stir crazy amongst the cakes :p

Have a good week everyone...its Monty Python and the Holy Grail tomorrow night at our community cinema...should be fun :D

lol. Hairy moment indeed ;) But thats what happens when you miss breakfast. The brain knows the stomach needs food so its switches on the emrgency craving mechanism and guess what that craving is for? Yep sugar and fat and soon as its in sight the sub conxious mind tells you "my precioussss, you know you wantsss it". Having a breakfast (and not missing any other meals for that matter) stops this Gullom mechanism from switching on. I'm not making any of this up, its all scientific fact I have learnt!

Had a long long day today playing a cricket match in Redhill, really nice venue but it took me 3 bloody hours to get back home what with all these Sunday bus replacement rail services and I even waited on a platform at Battersea Park for one of my interchanges for 40 mins when I realised that no trains were running. They didnt have any notice boards up saying so. So pretty damn tired now. It was my cheat day today though (I time it with my cricket match day so I can have a drink with the lads!) and made the most of it!

Have a productive week ahead everyone, keep focussing on those weight loss goals, dont let your friends lead you astray ;)

Weighing time is on Wednesday/Thursday then I'll post up the results quicker this time!
