Introduction to the Forum

Hi

I have recently joined FMUK and would like to introduce myself. I am a 67 year old male living in Surrey. I am retired and work as a volunteer for a local charity now. I would like to see free movies as I enjoy that and am hoping to comment on them on this forum. Recently I saw Allied and Sully and thoroughly enjoyed both these films.

Hello all,

My name is Jabbar, 46, from Manchester.

I have been a massive film fan since a very early age. My dad passed down a love of cinema to me, and I have passed it on to my 3 kids.

My main cinema is the Odeon at the Printworks in the city centre and 2nd option often is the Odeon at the Trafford Centre.

My top 5 favourite films are as follows;

1. The Shawshank Redemption
2. The Karate Kid (original)
3. The Last Samurai
4. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Original)
5. School of Rock

I am off to Star Wars in 3D Imax with my 3 kids today, at the Trafford Centre. Kids in Manchester don't go back to School until Tuesday 10th January (crazy, I know).

Look forward to chatting on here soon.

Kind regards

Jabbar.

Hi all

Based in Coventry and love going to the cinema. Last film I watched was Passengers, which I wouldn't recommend unfortunately - despite how much I like Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence!

Hi, I'm Nisha from london. I'm new to all of this and have never been to a preview. So I'm really looking forward to watching my first one. I got led here by a cousin who has been going to previews for as long as I can remember.

Hi All,

Aspiring movie critic here, heard about this forum through a colleague and so hoping I can find some hidden gems I wouldn't normally go to see!

See you in the theatre! :p

Hey guys, I'm Tasha, fellow film fan. I'm 27, live in Croydon (South London), and spend a silly amount of money going to the cinema because my only local cinema is Vue and they don't do a sort of Unlimited Card deal like Odeon and Cineworld! Sigh!

Find, 'Like' and share my Facebook movie page, 'Talk Movies To Me', and follow it on Twitter @TMTMtweets :)

I hope to get talking to people here... Please don't be shy and say hello! It would be nice to have people to talk film with! Also I'm not quite sure how to go about what I'm supposed to do next here lol.

Hi

I am 24, from Essex and love all different kinds of movies, never attended a screening before but would love to get into it as I have set myself a goal of watching a movie a day this year.

If I am honest I am not too sure how this works, I don't think there are many screenings in the Essex area but if any do come up I will be sure to check them out and post feedback on here.

Cheers

Hello. Im new here. I love watching films as a respite from my rather intense workload. I'm self employed so being able to take time out to switch off is great. I love documentaries, period drama type films, comedy, romantic, thriller and mystery films. I travel a lot and am very spontaneous in my life - work hard, play hard - so I go watch a movie.

Based in South East London but also happy to travel into town, Leicester Square, Euston, etc.

Happy to join this community.
