A Dog's Purpose

#1 Post by McG » Sat Apr 29, 2017 7:47 pm

This will probably be a lovely Sunday afternoon TV film though still enjoyed it today with a young girl. I was slightly apprehensive about taking her in case she ended in floods of tears but story is uplifting enough even for a 7 year old girl.

McG, agreed it does have its emotional string pulling but also up lifting moments, especially the end.

Definately a sky movies / afternoon tv kind of film, or simply for dog lovers.

I would say this film is definitely targeted at small children, they are all going to want a dog after seeing this! It's designed to pull at your heart strings. It was just an ok film, I'm glad I didn't p*y to see this as it's more of a Sunday afternoon TV film. 5/10

I have seen this film advertised all over the place, I might need to check it out.

It;s not a great film, but if you have ever had a dog, you will still need a couple of hankies with you.

Bit of a late review for this but nevermind!
I enjoyed A Dogs Purpose.
Obviously aimed at a younger audience but I still enjoyed watching it.
Was not too complex but the different lives of the dog added some variety and interest.
7/10
