Thank you elski for taking me along to the special screening for "Arthurs" at Warner Bros' offices.

Loved it, even down to the score and songs. I thought it was very, very good. I really liked Guy Ritchie's re-telling of this well known story.

I was gripped from beginning to end, never a dull moment, it is witty and creative, has great effects, action and music. Strong acting from the leads, Charlie Hunnam (Phwoarrr! Really beefed up since the Lost City of Z) and Jude Law (too pretty to be the bad Uncle). A weak cameo from David Beckham, but it was so brief, it did not matter, or detract from a most enjoyable film. 10/10

Watched this at a ram packed Cineworld Edinburgh Last night.

Spectacular but predictable special effects - c'mon guys let's move on from frenzied fighting, switching to slo-mo, back to the frenzy and throw in a few more slo-mo's. Been done for years now. Get creative.

Just didn't get the 'funny' scenes - seemed out of sync with the general tone of the film.

Typical Ritchie film - LOTR meets Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels - half expected one of the 12th century characters to come out with 'lovely jubbly'.

I was at the Edinburgh showing and the place was packed. I went expecting quite a heavy going historical drama and I was pleasantly surprised that this was quite a light hearted take on the story of King Arthur and the sword in the stone. I was on board from the beginning and found all the cockney accents quite funny. Having read the reviews about Beckams small cameo role and how bad it was, I can't agree. In the context of the movie and the other characters, his part was in line with them.

Plenty to keep my interest and never found the film long. Left very happy and would recommend 8/10

This is the Lock, Stock of the Middle Ages. Good action, tongue in cheek, don't take it too seriously. I enjoyed it, was funny and silly.

6/10
