Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
Terror was well presented but a bit wierd, and not being a fan of courtroom drama faffing around like drama queens, I get very bored when the answer is Captain frekin obvious. The answer is never that straightforward anyway in real life, but this presented it as fairly black and white with only a small grey area which was kinda just dumbing down what the play was trying so hard to recreate in other areas. I iddnt stay for the obvious poll at the end.
ok for free but £30 tickets is having a tin bath.

There was some courtroom drama play freebie on in Hammersmith I think. That's what raj is talking about. It looked quite interesting.

It was a not guilty verdict, but it was surprisingly close.

Tape Face was better than expected. Lots of audience participation (every section involved at least one person getting up on stage).
It was very funny in parts but unfortunately the vast majority of the material, I had seen online. The rest of the audience seemed to be enjoying themselves and my guests loved it even someone who didn't really like the Americas got talent material available online.

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
By the way, are there any more 'free' theatre/concert tickets? A £2 non-refundable admin charge appears to be the norm.
Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
I think you will find the admin charge has been added to reduce the number of no-shows. It is still free so to speak, admin charge or restoration fee for theatre is norm on all tickets. Just enjoy what the forum has to offer.

Hopefully it will stay that way but I wouldn't bank on it, "admin" fees have a tendency to rise once people rise the market is secure/profligate.

Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour - be aware theres no break, this is just a rollercoaster fulltilt run through the entire show. The actresses played all the other parts, including the male ones which was very funny.
King Kong - started rather slapstick Dick and Dom style Kong, but it got funnier and more inventive after the first 45 minutes. silly dumb fun really. My favourite character was Token Dead guy "I'm alive!!" lol a genuinely funny part of the show.
