Very disappointing. A very unfulfilling story that ultimately goes nowhere, with loads and loads of tantalising glimpses of "things" before a final "reveal" as a group of English go hiking in Sweden.
It's basically a giraffe!
Very like Trolls.
Not great.
4/10
Wish I'd gone to Breathe instead. Wasn't do much a clash as a mild overlap. Curse that later than usual start.

Cineworld Unlimited is cheating! ;-)
Sometimes I sits and thinks....and sometimes I just sits.

Similarities to Blair Witch, in terms of horror plot (scary weird stuff going on in the middle nowhere), but with more humour. Ultimately, I felt it was anti-climatic and a bit predictable at times. 5/10

Rituals is just an ok film, I'd probably classify it more as a TV film. It's a bit like Blair Witch but a lot less scarier. In fact this film isn't scary it all, it suggests that it 'might' be in parts due to the Blair Witch type scenes, but you always end up thinking 'yeah, Blair Witch did it better'. There's no development of the characters, you don't invest in them so I didn't really care if any of them met a grizzly death or not. The dream sequences were a bit pointless, it was rather disappointing throughout.

Yes guys you are right. Not that interesting and almost pointless movie.
One survivor out of five guys... why was he the one that got away?
Faced his fears? I dunno but I would definitely give part 2 a miss.
3/10 - that's me being generous for the pleasant surroundings and nice location of Dulwich Picturehouse

Not the greatest horror film ever but puts you off going camping in the woods for a while.
Would have liked a little more, or even some explanation behind what was going on.
Why does the creature bother to let some chosen ones live and have a little community, it was doing a fine job of hunting the guys without their help
Why was it confined to the woods
Good luck to Rafe Spall explaining that one when he hits civilisation. Straight to jail.

Very disappointing film, how many times have we seen this exact same format? Spoiler... A group of friends go hiking, shortcut through the woods, picked off one by one. I agree it is rather like Trolls, though Trolls had something that kept me watching and the final reveal was much more fulfilling. This film made me glad to get out of the cinema!
