Liam Neeson is excellent in this type of role. However with a plot similar in many ways to that of 'Non-Stop' I would have to say that I found Non-Stop more engrossing, The train crash was very well done but it seemed as though the director thought it would be a good idea to have a spectacular crash scene (handy for the trailer) but it was unnecessary to the plot and seemed like an clunky add on. This was a reasonable evenings entertainment. The film itself was as expected - well acted , moved along at a fast punchy pace. The final scene could have been predicted and was a bit trite - I suppose American audiences like a happy ending.

appalling rubbish. this should have been done as a full on tongue-in-cheek parody, missed opportunity.

No surprises, but another solid, silly action film from Mr Neeson.

Liam was on good gruff form, it kept my attention and there were some decent cameos from some well known faces and I thought the director made good use of the train setting. 7/10

I saw him mention it on Graham Norton's show, very impressively done, some good shots of it here.

Much better than something like the recent Murder on the Orient Express - better filming of the train, whether the film is better is debatable.

I saw this today and unlike most folk on here, I really enjoyed this film. Liam Neeson as the Commuter was very good but agreed he is always the same type of character and is now expert at it!
I thought the story was very good and it did build up some tension trying to see how the film would end. Loved the Spartacus scene!
