Re: Freebies
I hope people have seen the voucher on page 2 of the Metro today for a free drink at M&S when you b*y a selected wrap or roll. Only valid today which is typical as I am not at work today and nowhere near an M&S!

A wonderful opportunity for some lucky children!
A fun, free workshop where kids become filmmakers. (27 locations countrywide)
At Apple Summer Camp, kids aged 8-12 will learn the ins and outs of iMovie and how to make a film in about the time it takes to watch one. From storyboarding to shooting footage to editing, kids will create their own film from start to finish. The workshop, held at the Apple Store, spans three days and leads up to an Apple Summer Camp Film Festival where campers debut their masterpieces. Check out more details below. Space is limited and workshops fill up quickly, so sign up now for a real creative adventure.
Day One (1.5 hours)
Introduction to the basics of moviemaking on the Mac
Theme selection and storyboarding
Prepare for shooting footage outside the store overnight, or inside the store at the end of the workshop
On day one, Apple Summer Camp also includes an optional, one-hour Parents Workshop focused on parental controls on the Mac. No registration is required.
Day Two (1.5 hours)
Introduction to iMovie — simple-to-use moviemaking software
Use a Mac to work with video footage they collected, incorporating stills and music
Create a film
With guidance from Apple Summer Camp Counsellors, kids will use iMovie — software that's part of the iLife suite of creativity applications that comes standard on every Mac — to create, edit and produce their film.
Day Three (1 hour)
Film Festival
Kids will have the opportunity to showcase their film to invited parents, relatives and friends. Participation in the festival is optional — campers can choose to take their completed movie home at the end of day two if they prefer.

Re: Freebies
One plate isn't a lot - their usual 40% vouchers are much better value!
Re: Freebies
Thanks to superhero for posting the free brunch and a drink link at Circus in Covent Garden. When I emailed I was told they were full up for brunch but could offer us a taster lunch and free glass of wine. That's what we had today -- very nice food and large glass of wine and all for free. Many thanks.
