Don't be hard on yourself Bettyboop the most important thing is you got through your exams. Now that's gone you can concerntrate on yourself.

Have a leisurely walk, feel the sun on your face and the breeze in your hair. This will help you to relax and focus on this next exam and don't worry we'll all help you with your revision and even test you every two weeks with the help of TheyCallMeMrGlass's table :p

Here's sending you a big huge from all of the WW tread :bighug:

Ahh thats all very cute, hope you fully enjoyed your comfort day, now its a new day, get back onto the healthy eating track

Its very important to relax and now and again treat yourself to a massage, so good on you BettyBoop, and go get someone to give you a massage after all that exam blitz!

BUT You should never ever be starving, that concerns me. When your body is feeling hungry for too long. Your brain starts to crave for the fattier food if this happens. The biggest fat loss tip and general healthy eating tip is to eat 5 meals a day. Of course same total calories allowance but split into smaller meals. This is a very powerful way to lose weight and healthily. I do 5 meals a deal a day.

Breakfast
Mid Morning
Lunch
Mid Afternoon
Dinner

The mid morning and mid afternoon meals can be smaller meals/snacks. Such as Rice cake and cottage cheese etc or even meal replacement supplements if time is a factor. Dont go more than 3 hours without a meal. And drink plenty of water (or tea!)

Why is this so important? Here's why:

1. Your fat burn metabolism increases so you are burning calories more efficiently.

2. Stops craving for fatty and sugary foods, feeling hungry and therfore prevents over eating.

3. Food digests more efficiently and absorption of all the nutrients.

Through out the day you will feel more energetic, focussed and sharp because your fuelling yourself more efficient.

So please never starve. 7 months ago, put a blueberry muffin or cookie in front of me, and it would be gone so quickly that David Blaine would be asking me for the secret to that wonderous magic trick. But one week into the 5 meal a day routine, put a double decker or choc chip muffin in front of me and I would not budge, I dont crave for it any more because the body has been full filled with the healthy 5 healthy meals a day routine. So dont starve, you just make it more difficult for yourselves to stay on track. And you just cant get to any food for a little while than DRINK WATER, it will suffice for just the time being. And there's no excuse, every office must have a water tank for employees.

On your "comfort day" of the week, relax, have fun, reward yourself and dont think about diet but dont go excessive either!

Have a great weekend everyone!

of not wanting chocolate, I do say no to it only because I want to lose weight.

Where is everyone else would love to hear how you are all getting on.
I'm going for a Chinese banquet tomorrow so will have to try and be good.

Hi guys

I had my first every First Aid training. Really enjoyed it with a great crowd...then after putting the children in the recovery position and OH after a reluctant what seemed like hours I'm all zooped up to save someones life..lol OH says God help them :D i think that might be because i practised the Heimlich Manoeuvre and made myself and children laugh somewhat hysterically

I'm taking the children to see Shrek (reward for agreeing to playing dead) and then its Race for Life Sunday on one of the hottest weekends of the year 8O

If any one has any thoughts on beatie music that might push me along please let me know

Well I'm ALIVE :cheer:

Just got back from the York Race for Life event with my shinny medal :p

Its the first 5k run for me and the first Race for Life but after (ha ha) it was great..shame i picked the hottest day of the year

I don't actually feel too bad (except my stomach's a bit nauseous and my thighs ache and for some reason the back of my hands hurt when i rub my thumb over them...yes maybe don't rub your thumb over them is the answer) i expect tomorrow will be the test, lots of stretches and some more before bed and I'm sure I'll be bouncing for more.

...and although you shouldn't really be smug about yourself but (don't you just love the buts) I actually jogged..OK not fast but i didn't walk or crawl as expected..i may have looked like a sweaty beetroot with my hair plastered to my face but i did it.... :p
