I just noticed this on the British Music Experience website

'When We Were Beautiful'
Exclusive Bon Jovi photography exhibition
7th to 26th June 2010

To coincide with Bon Jovi’s 12 night residency at The O2 this summer, we're thrilled to host an exclusive photography exhibition featuring never seen before images, personally curated by the band.

Throughout June, we're hosting this unique exhibition documenting life on the road for Bon Jovi, one of the world’s greatest bands. The exhibition includes two floors of images, shot by band insider Phil Griffin who has enjoyed unparalleled access to the band over the last two years.

All of the images have been chosen and put together by the band and feature shots from the first ever official Bon Jovi book When We Were Beautiful as well as many previously unpublished and private photographs.

In addition to the exhibition, from 7th to 26th June, the British Music Experience will be showing teaser screenings of the Bon Jovi documentary, also titled When We Were Beautiful and directed by Phil Griffin, which chronicles life on the road with the band and their 25 years together.

Going to see Bon Jovi?

Entrance to the ‘When We Were Beautiful’ exhibition is free for all fans attending the Bon Jovi concerts at The O2 on presentation of your concert ticket and you can enter the museum for only £5!

Actually in truth, a concert is to be heard not seen, we were given low seats because the ticket of SFF had us on the 4th floor in principle.
I saw them on Wed and the whole thing was much tighter, they slacked a bit and it damaged the act BUT if you have not been before or you are a total fan you would not accept there was any slippin' and sliding. Last night was their 10 or 11 night running. I think they deserve a lot of respect for their act, as far as human goes they were really good!
To me the greatest surprise of all was the support act, I knew they had to be good but never thought they were going to be so good from the word go, and although I was listening for a great part from the restaurant I had my jolts of joy, they brought up the scene to a climax and it was difficult for BJ to keep it up in his exhaustion all the time.

I don't think seeing them from the 4th floor would have made much difference, because they use microphones.

I was one to be annoyed by the people in front of me but it was because it looked like the idiot was far too happy to be able to touch the girl as he wanted and did not allow anyone to have a look even at the screen, all this has absolutely nothing to do with the music, though.
I basically think my annoyance was due to the attitude of the two in front of us more than anythig else because we didn't actually see so much of the first act as we listened to it, part restaurant and part toilets. We can't see intent-energy but we can feel it.
Bj have their last concert tonight and that is a great compromise.
I only need to remember last year's Oasis last concert, at the iTunes fest : it was sad and self defeating. Sad because of their unprofessionality and not because it was going to be their last appearence and self-defeating because no matter how much they achieved by their sound they stepped on it like when you accidentally step on excrement.
That's what happened when you get tickets for the arena, anyway. But I rarely moan, so I want to once in a while.

Had a great experience on Friday. Noticed that SFF had its own box office window and luckily there wasn't much of a queue. Was asked for ID which was carefully scrutinised but it was fine and we got our tickets for the upper tier (4th floor). I've been to the O2 arena quite a few times but I've never been in the 'nosebleeds' so I was curious about how it would be - I've always thought that the seating up there looked so steep. The seats weren't too bad and considering we were at the block next to the stage, it didn't feel like we were that far away from the performers.

Kid Rock was surprisingly good and Bon Jovi were great. They put on a great performance and I even enjoyed the songs I was less familiar with. I wasn't expecting them to play all the well known hits as I read previous comments that they were mixing up the set list each night. The arena looked very full from where I was sitting so they managed to get most of those last remaining seats filled one way or another.

And I just wanted to make a special mention that I was able to take advantage of this opportunity due to the kindness and generosity of fellow forum members. Thanks so much! o/
