If you registered with eventbrite when you applied for tickets you should be able to go back to their site and log in to your account. You will then be able to see what events you have tickets for.

Maybe he is one of the 'chosen ones'.
What gets me is that they are not telling us the truth - they can 'accommodate us' as tickets would not have been issued if there was no room. They just don't want us there - and threaten us with security!

I don't think it is that - I think we are just the wrong kind of people. It is now listed as a private event . Previously there was the facility to e-mail a friend about it.
I know it is just an order confirmation but that is what the RSA tickets are called and look like (without the bit about being in touch). It is still listed as a ticket on my Eventbrite account. The Eventbrite system should not allow more confirmed orders than there are places. I have a lot of experience of this (and the waitlist system) with RSA events which are often sold out.

I agree with you bevvy. I think that is why it is password protected now as they want to choose the people they want to invite, and presumably they will give those people the password to book.
I just got the same email too. When I first got the order confirmation, I didn't get too excited as I thought it looked like pot luck who would get the tickets as when we applied they asked so many questions, like what company you worked at, your title, so they can veto us out!
