There is going to be stage version of Bridget Jones' Diary next year - most of the music has been written by Lily Allen.

I am in a pondering mood - ie BORED :noo: and was thinking about the usernames on this site. Up until quite recently I thought Sydney Bristow was male - but quite obviously NOT!!!
So it got me wondering how many females on this site have chosen male sounding usernames and if so why? Is it to completely "disguise" their identity or do they feel more in control if it appears to be a male posting on a forum? But do we give away clues to our gender in the way we "speak" on the forum.(beginning to sound like SJP in Sex and the City now!!! LOL)

Do we have any female sounding usernames who are actually males? - Will they admit to that ? ;)

As I have explained before when I first registered on this forum I hadn't a clue what to use but there was an article in the paper beside me about Christopher Biggins so I used Biggins and intended changing it but 19 months on I have stuck with it because I couldn't think up a brilliant username like some have used.

I'd be interested to hear what others think.

i would say from the fact that sydney bristow is a female character from alias and the many breast cancer gifs that it is obvious she is a female but i must admit i know what you mean .. i thought a_person was male with the tiger pic etc but alas she is female!!! i dont think theres necessarily anything behind it because everyone is pretty open about their gender, i doubt any of us feel repressed and the need to come across as more masculine .. :P
