Totally agree, screen 2 at the empire is a useless screening room, you couldnt even read the subtitles for all the heads in the way.

having said that the film itself was actually quite good although the last 10 mins was a bit strange and rushed i thought. Catherine Zeta-Jones was on form I thought.

There weren't any subtitles in The Rebound...

Didn't quite like this one. Storyline was mundane and Catherine Zeta-Jones has more skills to show than this movie allowed her to.

Saw this at Greenwich Odeon yesterday. They had it showing on screen 1. Got there 6.20, later than normal and there was still some spaces on the back two rows. Film started at about 6.40 I would say. Screening was about 3/5 full if not slightly less.

The film I was expecting to be a chick flick romcom type of thing, but it was better than your normal romcom that you will see this year. In a way it was a touching film and there were also some lol moments in the film, remember the ‘I mostly always pull out part before i…’ LOL.

I didn’t think CZJ could play the part before the film, but looking back at the film she played the part perfectly.

The film is a 15 certification, and because of that I don’t think it will do aswell as it would of done if it was a 12a. But glad they didn’t cut out some of the rude part and swearing part just to bring the ratings down, as sometimes you need those part to make the film funny/or to get the point across. I think so anyway :p

8.5/10

odeon greenwich always starts late. it really annoys me. It says it starts prompt at 6:30pm on the tickets and no late comers but odeon greenwich ALWAYS wait for late comers and even start late to allow late people to come in. Really pisses me off as it means I can never drive in and have to use public transport.

For once I was able to drive to the cinema as I had the day off work. Was a much more pleasant journey than getting the jubilee line (which had delays on Monday) to North Greenwich and then the bus (which is always packed) to the cinema.

Always packed with people who dont own deodrant or think their natural body odour accounts for Armani Code or something.

Unless a film finishes by 8:45pm I can't drive in as I need to take the Blackwall tunnel which is closed after 9pm on weekdays.

Saw this film at Silverlink, Newcastle, last night and really enjoyed it. I had tears in my eyes at the end! 8/10

Saw this last night without having read any reviews and thought it was fairly entertaining if somewhat predictable. The ending was particularly weak like the writers had run out of steam.

The tunnel is still open for Northbound traffic so you can still get through the tunnel from Greenwich after 9pm. It is the southbound people who are restricted as they divert northbound traffic through the southbound tunnel. There has been a bit of a queue the few times I've done it (you wouldn't normally get much traffic at that time) and once I just swung round and went through the Rotherhithe instead.

Another reason to avoid living in South London! Getting home in the mid/late evening must be a right pain at the moment for those who rely on the Blackwall Tunnel.
