I really enjoyed Sherlock too. Wonderfully updated, well cast, full of humour, and obviously written by a Conan Doyle fan.
Thought the music reminded me of Hans Zimmer's score from Guy Ritchie's film.
Looking forward to the next episode!

So did I Syd - I was doing my good deed for the week as I took mum-in-law to a show with the "Rat Pack" and Buddy Greco (who I am told was a bit of a hit in his day). Completely forgot about Sherlock (oh well thank god for iplayer) but remembered to Sky+ the programme about the Amish!

When I settled down to watch this in the B&B I thought this modern Sherlock is either going to be really cr*p or really fantastic. Thankfully it was the latter. Loved how he used all the modern technology like email, internet and GPS. Not sure what mobiles you use, Glassy, mine has been working fine for over 5 years, it just keeps on going. *knocksonwood*

I concur, thought Sherlock was fab, it was written by Steven Moffat though. The only gripe was that I was shouting it's the taxi driver at the telly for yonks. But well written and nice fast rythmn to it too. top marks bbc.....ooh I sound like a points of view viewer don't I?

Only 3 episodes of Sherlock have been made. A series will be approved by the BBC depending on the viewing figures of the initial 3 episodes. :cross:
