Wow how wonderful!!! Ooooh your french must be brill now!!! Are the beaches divine? Is the water crystal clear? Do I wanna go there for my honeymoon? Yessssssssssss.....just gotta make sure bf gets with the programme! :giggle: You'll have to tell us more Dem!! o/

Erm, we're supposed to be bilingual here. Official language is English but then no one speaks English in everyday life!!! The media, movies almost everything is in French!!! But then again all official documents, business is done in English!!! Pretty bananas huh? :p

Yep almost a year!!! In that whole year I've been to the movies only what ... 4 times?

And Syd, I see loads of tourists who get married here. So yep you might consider it as a honeymoon destination! I wouldn't recommend the majorly touristy areas though, too commercial. There's an island off Mauritius, Rodrigues Island, I think it's perfect for honeymooners! The beaches are clean and deserted, the people are real nice .... Anyway, I can give you lots of pointers if ever you decide on Mauritius!!!

Oh I loved Mauritius! Although some time ago now I can remember going to a beach called Ile aux Cerfs. We had to go by boat from Pointe Maurice. It was so peaceful and quiet - so relaxing.......... Wish I was there now instead of in Surrey in the rain!
