So I've won tickets to the world premiere of this tomorrow night. Should be fun... right?

Saw this film last night at Greenwich. Got there about 6 but wasn’t allowed up to the screen until 6.15. When being allowed up to screen 1 there was 2 bouncers type guys, checking tickets and telling people to turn phones off. Had a chat with one of then and told me they were sent from Warner Bros to make sure the film was being filmed by anyone and being pirated ect. They were watching people throughout the whole of the film.
The film started at about 6.35 and it started off well, with the joke about “crying” but then it went down hill from there. It picked itself up in the middle and it ended up being an average romcom. The film was some what longer than it needed to be. The crude jokes were hilarious to me, like when they were on the table and when they were in bed on the phone. All the jokes in the film had been copied from some other film of tv show, but were still funny in this film. I also didn’t see the chemistry between the 2 main characters, but the crude jokes kept the film going for me.

I thought that this was one of the better romcoms I've seen recently. And, at least it had some different people in it! Drew Barrymore and Justin Long gave reasonable performances and, unlike some other FMUKers reviewing this, I thought they did have a certain believable chemistry going on between them.
There was a fair amount of crudity in this. Where it was funny, it worked brilliantly (e.g dining table scene) - but where it wasn't funny it just seemed pointlessly coarse and juvenile. Loved the nods and references to Top Gun.
Overall not too bad a film, so 7 out of 10 from me.

a_person - Was going to go watch SP, but a couple hours befroe changed my mind as GTD was more appealing to the gf.

Watched this preview in Cardiff last night. Cinema was 80% full and I must say that my two daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed this Rom-Com. We literally laughed all the way through it. It may not be everybodys' cuppa tea but hey......it cheered me up on a miserable Tuesday evening....
