Well I enjoyed it... Angelina Jolie was perfect for this film. When I heard that Tom Cruise was initially earmarked for this, I couldn't see it, he's a bit too... short!

It's amazing how different she looks as a brunette compared with blonde... a throwback to her Tomb Raider days.

7/10

I suspect it might not have taken as much at the box office if Tom Cruise took the role, we shall see when MI4 comes out.

I also had to use up vouchers, and opted to watch Salt. I found it highly entertaining and action packed. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but enjoyable all the same.

Had a decent enough story, a few enjoyable action scenes, never an outstanding film but a good way to pass a few hours 7/10

Saw this at Ocean in Edinburgh tonight since they'd cancelled the Going the Distance screening, or at least poostponed it until 6th September.

I was wary as the Telegraph and others had given it 1 star but on here there have been some positive reviews.

Sorry I won't be joining you. I thought it was pants and full of more holes than Evelyn Salt made bullet holes in the film.

It didn't flow well, and I didn't think the acting was terribly strong other than Liev who was far more believavle than all the others.

It was dull, plodding and slow despite all the high action and zipping along plot shame the story didn't do the same. Nolan seemed to film in Batman grey which was slightly offputting too.

Sorry didn't like it. 4/10 from me.

Was hoping for a free preview for this one. Too bad it did not come.
