Is it half term? Or do they do school trips to the cinema these days?

For this film they probably do... they did it for Lesbian Vampire Killers for 16-18 group!

Re: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
This would be a far better use of time than Lesbian Vampire Killers ever could be.
Seems a bit early to appreciate the film though.

Re: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
Right you are.
Blown away by this film. No, it wasn't just the onomatopoeia. In addition to being the most technically brilliant film since Eternal Sunshine, there's something the film shares with Toy Story 3 that no other movie this year has come close to matching: a boat load of heart.
This was a very intelligent film in more ways than one - Edgar Wright has truly levelled up, and the story is very meaningful (if you know where to look).
There's something for everyone: it's a musical with fight scenes, or is it an action movie with a lot of music? Credit to the cast for keeping up, especially Michael Cera who brings phenomenal range to the titular character (which should put his doubters to bed once and for all).
I feel sorry for anyone who didn't like it - on Facebook I just implored everyone aged between 12 and 30 to see it, because it's the movie of the generation. But don't let that put you off if you're not in that age group - as one review wisely said, even if you don't get one joke you'll get the next. You really don't want to miss out on such a unique film. For the uninitiated, quite a lot might strike you as strange, but just roll with it and you'll have a blast.

Re: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
A, Why didn't you score it 10/10? Just curious why it's missing the plus one.
