Funnily enough I was checking out the actors on The last seven today as I hadn't heard of most of them. One of them, I was impressed when I saw Batman Begins, but he was only in it as " someone's limo driver"

Nor me! Only recognised Anthony Head and he wasn't even in the film! He was part of the audience. But they were all taking photos of each other, so I thought I join in! Stupid question, but that hostage siege in Manila, if the guy wanted his job back, just say yes we'll give you your job back just to draw him out of the bus, it wasn't like he demanded lots of money and guaranteed escape route like in a hollywood movie. Those negotiators really bungled it badly.

yeah, the Philippine police have admitted they did not have the skills, equipment or training to handle Monday's bus siege, in which eight Hong Kong tourists were killed after being taken hostage. Dreadful bungle.
