Hi all!
I'm kts2k. I've seen one preview film, and that was the rubbish remake of Alfie. Looking forward to seeing some great films. My favourite film has to be either Fight Club, or Sister Act!

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi,
I'm Gemma from the North West, I signed up to See Film First a long time ago and managed to see a couple of free films, but not really very successful in getting the tickets quick enough.....therefore I'm absolutely loving this site. Already managed to see 'The Switch'. I prefer more Arthouse films than big commercial blockbusters, but I'm willing to give anything a go.
So that's a bit about me, does anyone know of any good independent/arthouse cinemas in the North West?
I regularly go to one in Longridge Preston. It's a one screen independent cinema with bags of character, it's the only cinema I've ever been to that still play the national anthem before each film, and have an interlude where an ice cream seller comes round to your seat....plus you can get a proper cup of tea in a mug

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi there,
real name Iain and joined recently. I love to go see movies and get the whole cinema experience esp if they are freebies.
Had my first disappointment with a freebie 2 weekends ago when I arrived at cinema in Glasgow with the kids for a preview of despicable me, arrived in plenty of time and it was still full due to most people who had tickets actually using them for a change
Staff at the cinema were very good about it though and let us in to see Salt instead which the boys loved.
Anyway hope to be popping in from time to time to see whats happening.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi all
We've been going to see free films for a couple of years - although there don't seem to be many codes for cinemas near us so we've probably only seen 7 or 8 in that time, and to OH's disgust they've mostly been chick flicks!
Cheers
