A lot of restaurants and hotel are advertising bookings for Xmas lunches etc.
I saw Xmas cards too in lots of shops - didn't b*y any but have b*ght my OH and I a diary each for 2011 as we have dates already written on pieces of paper that need to be written in next years' diary.

I was sorting out my holiday days yesterday at work and I booked the days off between Christmas and New Years, if you book 3 days off, you can get 10 days off in a row!!! They were laughing at me as its so early, but I like to be organised :D

The unfair thing here is that if Christmas falls on a weekend you don't get substitute days. So this year is a bad one!!

Oh, I thought they made the days bank holidays when Christmas/New Year is on the weekends (Mon 27th, Tues 28th and Mon 3rd), thats not fair if they make you work on them!!
