we now have four shows for the long weekend.
probably a bit too much, but hey!

It's got Michael Gambon in it though. That's got to be worth a trip surely.ucakpam wrote:We're being spoilt! Is anyone going to see Krapp's Last Tape? It's so short that I'm wondering whether it pays off to attend it. I'll spend way more time commuting than watching the play.

Definitely worth it.. so much choice tonight, in the end the Gambon / Beckett combination had to be the winner.kevinknapman wrote: It's got Michael Gambon in it though. That's got to be worth a trip surely.

Absolutely agree with all of the above - I couldn't believe the phone either and it was extra wierd as it was the same ring tone as the one they usually use in theatres before the play to remind people to turn off their phones!thedude wrote:Definitely worth it.. so much choice tonight, in the end the Gambon / Beckett combination had to be the winner.kevinknapman wrote: It's got Michael Gambon in it though. Krapp’s Last Tape is just under an hour, for me it’s too short, I was just beginning to enjoy it when the curtain came down...
It's a cosy little theatre, but they need to oil those squeaky seats for a quiet play like this.
And I can't understand how people go to the theatre and leave their phones on! Some woman got a call, apologised, then got another call, apologised again, then got a text! Unbelievable.
