Here's one that I'll be using my free Cineworld ticket on. I'm looking forward to seeing it after reading all the positive reviews on this thread. :P

Watched this on Tuesday night, at the Stratford Picture House. Really enjoyed it. It even reminded me a little of the classic 90's movie - Point Break.
Will look out for a cheap dvd of Gone Baby Gone to see how his earlier film held up.

How was the organisation at Stratford Picture House on Tuesday?? - For the last big preview they had, Inception, it was an absolute shambles. They couldn't cope with the numbers and the systems (allocated seating, one person on the box office) they had in place just delayed the whole thing.

I was at the Inception screening also. This time it was alot easier, but they didn't have the same number as Inception as for The Town. They followed a, sit where you like policy, but as you took your seats the husher kept on moving people to centre seats to allow for late arrivals. He was ademant the screening would be full - prob was via the booking system - but only 60 - 70 per cent full.

Loved this - 8.5/10

Builds upon GBG's themes, reminds you of Heat (in a good way). I wish John Hamm's character had had more depth, but that's a small complaint in a very smart crime thriller. Further evidence that Affleck is a brilliant director, and I think his character's backstory (a failed chance at stardom) says volumes about where Affleck might be now had Kevin Smith not brought him to Hollywood with him. A few years ago one might not have said this, but thank goodness he did.

Hang on....I thought he said that his grandma lives in Tangerine, Florida? That was the clue with the tangerine in the bag...right?

Edit: Ah....Bevvy already said that. Whew. I was beginning to think I was quite mad :p

Saw This Film Today And Loved it... Great Characters With A Lot of Depth and Some Excellent Performances From Affleck and Renner and I Also Have to Mention Blake Lively Who Really Shone in Her Small Amount of Screen Time...
9/10 :D
