Just read an article in my local newspaper today which made me laugh as I have done this myself and wonder how many others have too.
The article was called "My charity donations are still winking at me". The writer cleared out some good quality clothing from her wardrobe and donated them to a charity shop. A week later went back in to see the items hanging up for sale and looked to see how much they have priced them. She was not amused at how some of her "fabulous" items were priced rather low and even worse when some of them were still hanging there a few weeks later making her feel that her taste in clothing was so bad no one wanted to wear them!!
Been there, done that, b*ght the t-shirt!! - and donated it to the charity shop!!!

The opposite happened to me. I gave a few clothes to a shop that sells them for you, keeps 60% and gives you 40%. I wasn't expecting much so got the shock of my life when they suddenly told me an old coat had made me £16, meaning they had sold it for a stonking £40!

No that's the thing! My clothes are anything but designer! I think it was a Tchibo coat. They must have found a right mug to p*y that much for it second-hand.
