I went with Casablanca, with Thelma and Louise a close second. All the others are either too recent or have had a rerelease already. I think Grease has been done to death this summer as far as free screenings go (still a good film though).

from 24 October heat readers will be able to enjoy a series of FREE film screenings over four consecutive Sundays at 25 Cineworld cinemas nationwide.

so are there only 25 cineworlds in the country? you could be entering and then find it's not in one near you, and they aren't even asking at the moment... and it says some thing about 'pre-registering' for tickets ... sorry got a headache and none of it is making sense.

It also sounds like it'll be the top 4 films over 4 sundays

edit: also the link to the page came from a tweet from showFF so maybe they're involved somewhere!

Diet Coke Partners with Bauer Media and Cineworld

Diet Coke is set to celebrate all things film, fun and fabulous with the launch of a Feel Good Film Festival in partnership with Cineworld and Bauer Media's heat magazine. Giving a moment of uplift this autumn, consumers will be able to vote to see their favourite feel good films on the silver screen and win one of ten thousand pairs of free tickets to nationwide Cineworld screenings of the most popular four movies.

Launched on heat's daily news and gossip hub, www.heatworld.com today, readers will have two weeks to vote in a poll for their must-see films from a shortlist of ten fabulous feel good flicks. Titles including Pretty Woman, Grease and Mamma Mia all reflect the diet Coke philosophy of Love It Light, with lashings of laughter, fun and entertainment.

While the poll is live, users can keep up to date on how their favourite title is faring by logging onto www.heatworld.com, before the four winning films are announced on 19th October across heat's online and print media channels. The smash hits will then be screened across 25 nationwide Cineworld cinemas each Sunday in late October and early November*. Ticketing agency ShowFilmFirst is overseeing ticket management of the 20,000 tickets, enabling consumers who have won, to download a pair of free tickets alongside a voucher for a complimentary diet Coke.

Designed to appeal to the brand's core audience of young women, the Film Festival will be promoted with six weeks of added value content across heat's print and online channels. Alongside this, banners will support the festival on Coca-Cola loyalty site, www.CokeZone.co.uk, with teasers appearing in the hub's diet Coke newsletter and splashes on the diet Coke Facebook page, raising the profile of the activity with diet Coke loyals.

Jon Woods, Country Manager, Coca-Cola GB and Ireland explains: "Diet Coke celebrates the lighter side of life and the Love It Light philosophy is all about delivering an instant moment of pleasure and pick me up. Feel good films are a fantastic way of giving the diet Coke drinker a bit of a lift and we're thrilled to be linking up with two of the biggest media and film brands in the UK - Bauer Media's heat magazine and Cineworld - to bring the "diet Coke Feel Good Film Festival" to consumers this autumn. A fabulous night out with friends, packed with feel good moments and all absolutely free!"

102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.
