That's a blast from the past, I remember reading about them in fanzines in the 90s... didn't they go kind of soft in recent years?ucakpam wrote:I b*ght myself a ticket to see Tiamat at the end of November at the Underworld in Camden.

Yes, they did go soft. I just thought it would be fun to see them again for old times sake. I saw them back in 1995 when they were promoting the album wild honey. I'm so nostalgic.thedude wrote:That's a blast from the past, I remember reading about them in fanzines in the 90s... didn't they go kind of soft in recent years?ucakpam wrote:I b*ght myself a ticket to see Tiamat at the end of November at the Underworld in Camden.

It took me two hours and forty minutes but I did eventually manage to get a pair of Glastonbury tickets. Now I'm just waiting to see who is playing...

Kylie and U2 are strongly rumoured for 2011. I would love to go to Glastonbury too but as I'm currently employed term-time only in a school, I wouldn't be able to get the time off to go. One day though...

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Went to see The Posies tonight at The Garage in Islington. My ears are ringing now! It was a really small and intimate venue. The music was loud (electric guitars with occasional piano) but it was melodic and I loved the harmonies. I had met Ken Stringfellow several years ago when he was playing with R.E.M and I thought he was really nice. He was funny and charismatic and there was a really good atmosphere. I don't remember seeing a band in such a small venue before.....the total opposite to what Glastonbury will be!

They are signed up to Jack Whites (White stripes) record label.
Looking forward to it
