Congratulations on winning the tickets. Always nice to go and investigate new things when they are free!
Here's an article about the Smoke Fairies. Doesn't sound very White Stripey!

Yeah, on further investigation, I got my information muddled up. They have a record label but its not with Jack White. They produced a record or two with Jack White however and it was released on his record label.

Thank you for the article, I will have a read :D
I like their music! I had a nice day today

What are the best seats for concerts at the O2 arena, Greenwich? My friends and I have b*ght tickets to go to the Usher concert in February. When I purchased the tickets, I selected "Best Available" and "Any Price" and it gave me some seats in row z in 110. I showed it to my friend and she said they're shit seats while another said, it's not the best but certainly not the worst either!

Anyone know better? I'm abit annoyed as a final Friday date has been added which would have been ideal for me but it's all sold out. Arghhhh.

You can get a seating plan on Ticketmaster.

110 is the middle level at the opposite end of the arena to the stage, Not as bad as level 4, all I can say for level 4 is thank god for the screens coz the acts look like little ants running round on the stage!!

It depends how they have the arena layed out, Bon Jovi I had tickets behind the Stage which sounds rubbish, but actually couldn't have been much better!! Rod Stewart people who had Floor Level which are normally really good seats had their views blocked by huge sound & lighting control stations. (I think thats what they were). We had level 4 directly opposite the stage so although it was a direct view, the stage looked very small.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Middle level, your tickets are away from the stage, but decent

Q THE MUSIC IN STYLE

Live music doesn’t come any more exciting than this. Taking place on Monday 25 October, the Q Awards with Russian Standard Vodka – Britain’s biggest and best music awards – are just around the corner. Which means the industry’s most hotly anticipated pre-gig shows and the exclusive aftershow party are even closer – and, as a Russian Standard Vodka Originals member, you and a friend could be at one of them...

Jamiroquai

Chase and Status
21 October

Paolo Nutini
22 October

Mark Ronson
23 October

For the chance to win a pair of tickets to an amazingly intimate and live set by one of these inimitable artists or be at the star studded aftershow party, simply email the answer to this question to website@rsvoriginals.co.uk by 9am on Monday 18 October...

On which date are the Q Awards being held this year?

a 24 October
b 25 October
c 26 October

Don’t forget to tell your friends! If they register as a Russian Standard Vodka Originals member before midnight on Sunday 17 October, they’ll also be in with a chance of winning…

Good luck. We hope to see you there.

I don't think 110 is that bad. If Usher is having his stage layout as in the picture jpeg posted then you may feel quite far but you can do a lot worse in that arena, believe me.

I saw a concert there where they used 'the round' and the stage was in the middle of what looks like floor seating. If Usher used 'the round' then you will be laughing in block 110. I've also seen WWE in block 110 (although it was row N) and it was fantastic - admittedly the ring was not as far as the normal placing for the stage.

Can't believe Usher has sold out the whole O2 arena. I guess he is a lot more popular now. I remember going to see him at Stratford Rex in the late 1990s. Did feel a bit ripped off as he only performed for 30 mins (looking back, he may not have had that many songs at that point, lol) but I was so close I could touch him! Impossible now. Hope you have a great time.

Most artists these days tend to perform a few songs on a stage near the back of arena. Some get to the back on platforms suspended above the crowd while in the case of Michael Buble he simply walked to the back with security guys.
I've managed to get tickets for Usher for Feb too but i'm going to Sheffield. Luckily I was still on the mailing list for AEG the promoters that were behind Michael Jackson and they announced/were selling the extra date tickets last week but Ticket Master weren't selling them until Monday of this week. My friend got seats in the equivalent to A2 row 30 and i got seats in equivalent to block 102 second row from the front, the section nearest the stage.
